West Palm Beach

Directly west across Palm Beach’s three bridges lies the mainland city of West Palm Beach. West Palm is an ideal place to raise a family. This community offers an array of housing choices and recreational opportunities. The completion of the gorgeous Norton Museum of Art, designed by Norman Foster, ignited a rapid rejuvenation of the surrounding area, now labeled the “Norton Neighborhood.” Young families love the tree-lined streets of El Cid, with its smaller versions of Palm Beach’s Hispano-inspired 1920s architecture. Further south and west are great family neighborhoods like Flamingo Park, Prospect Park and SoSo, anchored by good public schools. This fast growing city has recently seen the construction of gleaming new luxury towers like The Bristol, La Clara and the upcoming South Flagler House, which offer breathtaking views across the Intracoastal to Palm Beach island and the rolling Atlantic.
