North End
Like most of Palm Beach, the North End is really a collection of micro-neighborhoods. From Royal Poinciana Way, the town’s original Main Street, the North End runs all the way to the tip of the Island at the Palm Beach Inlet. Closest to Royal Poinciana are magical 1920s homes in the ocean blocks of Dunbar Road and Everglade Avenue. Further north, you’ll find more modern estate homes in the elegant redevelopment of the old Phipps Estate. And up where the island narrows towards its tip to a slender one-block wide are the incredibly popular “cabana streets” like Mockingbird and Ocean Terrace, with their neighborhood beach associations at one end of the block and the miles-long pedestrian Lake Trail at the other.
